Washington DC gets new Ambassador-Jean Kamau moved


In new changes made today by president Uhuru Kenyatta,Washington DC gets full fledged ambassador in the  name of former Finance minister Robinson Njeru Githae as the current acting Ambassador,Jean Kamau moves to Bangkok.

Washington DC has been without a full ambassador since June last year when the then Ambassador Elkana Odembo was recalled.Ambassador Jean Kamau  was   interim Chief of Mission and Chargé d’affaires and was acting Ambassador at the Kenyan embassy.

Ambassador Kamau had  the privilege of hosting president Uhuru Kenyatta last week during the Africa US Summit and was seen with the president in every event Uhuru attended.
