Grace Kina Leposo walked out of prison at about 4.20pm in a dark blue jeans trouser and a checked blue, light green and yellow shirt accompanied by her lawyer and younger sister. Leposo looked exhausted.

She was released after her family posted a Sh150,000 bail set by the Kibera chief magistrate’s court for failure to pay hotel bills. Leposo is estranged from her husband, Musengi, who is a National Police Service Commission official.

She was charged with failing to pay Sh850,000 debt to three hotels, including Boulevard Hotel and House of Wayne in Nairobi. Leposo blamed her tribulations on being denied funds after her estrangement to her husband.

The Star exclusively broke the story of her in incarceration at Lang’ata Women prison two weeks ago. Yesterday, she declined to comment on her plight, saying she was too tired to comment.
