Fidel Odinga’s candidature for elective position rattles ODM top dogs
Word in the high streets is that Fidel Castro Odinga (son to prime minister Raila Odinga) may go for an elective position come 2017! The news that emanated from a Facebook post by Raila’s top aide was quickly certified a true position and saw many of Odinga’s online army take sides.
Reliable sources reveal that Fidel Odinga may go for an elective seat in an area he’s known to weigh considerable personal linkages over the years with the folks and networks on the ground. Castro has my good-will and full support.
It was not made clear in which ward, constituency or county he will contest but pundits were quick to point two most likely constituencies if he were to go for MP position; Kibra currently held by his friend Ken Okoth and Kisumu Central that is represented by his stooge hon Ken Obura, remotely Langata constituency was also mentioned.
It is important to note that the former campaign manager to prime minister Raila Odinga has declared interest in Kibra constituency and is perceived by many as a front runner. The entry of Fidel may reduce him to a third-force or may see him relocate to the nearby Langata constituency.
