In the quest to send Bishop Bahati off, friends and fellow Christian have been sending condolence messages to his family and sending in funds to help offset his high standing bill.
After passing on last Monday, Bishop’s send off commemoration mass is set to be held on Tuesday, November 11th 2014 at the Citam Valley Road from 5:00 pm, and this will double up as a fundraiser to which everyone is invited.
Top government officials who have confirmed attendance to the event include Deputy President William Ruto, Kapseret MP Oscar Sudi and other members from their dockets and areas of influence. This is according to a close friend to the Bishop’s family.
The send off mass shall be a commemoration of Bishop’s life and those whom he mentored shall once again come meet up to discuss, the values he instilled in them, as well as how the shall keep his good work up.
Singer Hey-z urged his fellow Christians and fans to come together so they can send off Bishop like the leader he was. “Everyone should come and celebrate his life one last time because his works will always be remembered.”
At the same time Singer Ole Willy who was quite close to the Bishop and his family urged people not to mourn, but instead take up the mantle.
“Bishop is in a happy place and I believe he would have loved us to take up the mantle and keep up what he had already started.”
