Video:Ruto meets Moses Wetangula in Bungoma County
Deputy president William Ruto has urged leaders to stop politicising security issues in the country. Ruto who was presiding over the launch of the seed fund for the Bungoma county Bodaboda Sacco at Posta grounds said security issues were a collective responsibility to be shouldered by all Kenyans. The deputy president wondered why some leaders were politicizing the ongoing military operation in Somalia aimed at restoring peace to the region. Bungoma senator Moses Wetangula who also attended the event asked the government to ensure law and order was maintained across the country. Their remarks came just over a week after police officers were killed in an attack in Kapedo, Turkana county.
