President Uhuru Kenyatta’s cousin died in a road accident at Roysambu, Nairobi on Saturday.
Mike Gathecha, son of Uhuru’s uncle Peter Gathecha, died instantly after his Toyota Crown rammed into a stationary lorry.
Preliminary investigations indicate that he may have been speeding.
Gathecha was the proprietor of Juja Capital Centre which has a restaurant, a bar, a lounge and a tyre centre.
Friends and relatives described him as a flamboyant businessman and car enthusiast.
His wrecked car was towed to Kasarani police station.
