Kenyan joins the race for city council seat in Federal Way, Washington

A Kenyan man has declared his candidacy for a seat as a member for the Federal Way City Council in Washington State.

Mr. P.K Thumbi announced this week that he would be running for the county position with jurisdiction over position 7

In his announcement, Thumbi asked residents to support him as he is committed to providing community service at this council level of Federal Way city government.

He said that he would be running a non-partisan race as the position was non-partisan.

He intends to provide the residents of Federal Way with a synopsis of himself and then his agenda and vision for the city in his upcoming campaigns.

His vision in a snapshot is”A working City; where every resident has an equal opportunity to pursue their dreams; and where everyone is proud to call Federal Way home, while happily living, working and raising their families!
