New Kenya Visa rule:Visa can only be purchased online

To all Non Kenyan Residents intending to visit Kenya. Please Note that from 1st September 2015 Visa to Kenya can only be purchased online and not at point of entry into the country

The online e-Visa and the manual Visa applications will continue to run concurrently until from 31st August 2015. From there on, Visa application to Kenya goes online. All application will be made


a) Single entry Visa $50.00
b) Multiple entry Visa $100.00

c) East Africa Visa $100.00 – allow travel between Kenya, Rwanda and Uganda with the same multiple entry visa.The holder of the East Africa Tourist Visa shall enter the region from the country that issued the visa and move within the two other countries without applying for another visa or paying another visa fee.
d) Transit Visa $20.00
e) Administrative fee for referred visa $10.00

Persons aged 16 years and below will require a visa to enter Kenya.

Diplomatic, Official, Service and Courtesy visas will continue to be issued Gratis.


Please submit your application with the correct fee as stated above depending on your travel plans to avoid delay in processing your visa.


Nationals (Passport holders) of the following countries do not require visas to enter Kenya:

St. Lucia
Belize Swaziland
Botswana Mauritius Seychelles
Brunei Darussalam Namibia The Gambia
Burundi Nauru Tanzania
Cyprus Papua New Guinea The Bahamas
Dominica Rwanda Tonga
Fiji Island Trinidad and Tobago
Ghana Samoa Tuvalu
Grenada St. Kitts and Navis Uganda
Jamaica  Sierra Leona Vanuatu
Kiribati  Singapore Zambia
Lesotho  Solomon Islands Zimbabwe
Malawi South Africa (For less than 30 days stay) St. Vincent and the Grenadines
Malaysia (For less than 30 days stay)


The following countries have concluded visa abolition agreement with Kenya:


  • Ethiopia
  • San Marino
