Tuesday was a sad day for the family of Mike Mbuvi Sonko and in particular the Nairobi senator, as they laid to rest his father, Gideon Kioko Mbuvi Kivanguli.
Mr. Gideon succumbed to illness on Sunday 6th after he was admitted to the ICU at Nairobi Hospital. He was laid to rest at their MUA HILLS family home.
Sonko, known for his flamboyance ensured that his late dad was given a worthy send off. Gideon Kioko was laid to rest in a gold and diamond encrusted casket, for a man of his stature.
