Mudavadi to attend Hillary Clinton’s unveiling as Democrats’ flagbearer

ANC Leader Musalia Mudavadi

ANC party leader Musalia Mudavadi will next week attend the National Democratic Party Convention that will unveil Hilary Clinton as its flagbearer in Philadelphia, USA.

Mudavadi is among the few African guests and he will be a panelist at the International Leaders Forum organised by the National Democratic Institute.

“It is through the Democratic Party Convention that Hillary will be unveiled as a presidential candidate,” Mudavadi’s spokesperson Kabatesi Kibisu yesterday told the Star. The 2016 International Forum will be held on July 25-28 during the Democratic National Convention alongside the Democrat Convention.

Mudavadi will join other ambassadors, leaders of political parties, ministers and members of the US-based diplomatic corps. The invitees represent parties in established and emerging democracies, and representatives of reform movements in nations where democratic governance has not taken hold.
