Party leader Ken Lusaka announced that members would join the Jubilee Party.

The announcement came after the party’s National Executive Committee meeting Monday.

The move came a day after rebel Orange Democratic Movement legislators Ababu Namwamba and John Waluke held talks with Mr Lusaka, who is also the Bungoma governor.

After the meeting, the leaders announced that a “political tsunami” was likely to take shape in the predominantly opposition region.
