– According to Maasai tradition, a special bull will be slaughtered in honour of the late Wiliam ole Ntimama
– The bull which is regarded as sacred will be given by Ntimama’s family and must be of uniform colour with no blemishes
– The bull shall be specifically be slaughtered for Ntimama’s age mates and elders who will be responsible in blessing his body before burial
Late cabinet minister William ole Ntimama will be honoured with the slaughter of a sacred bull before his burial.
According to Hassan ole Kamwaro, the burial committee chairman the family of the former cabinet minister will provide a special bull with uniform colours and no blemishes on its body.
“Culturally,when a person of Ntimama’s stature dies, a big bull is identified among the herd. As at now, we are in the process of getting one and in case there is none found in his herd, his oldest son will have to get one,” Kamwaro said.
