Former Kenya’s ambassador to Germany Ken Osinde has been appointed Chief of Staff in the office of the Deputy President William Ruto.

Osinde has also served as ambassador of Kenya to Romania as well as Bulgaria and replaces Maryanne Kittany who stepped aside in March last year following corruption allegations.

Osinde reported to the DP’s office on Tuesday October 25, ten months to the next elections.

Sources at State House revealed that he was oriented and has embarked on the new journey of serving the DP’s office.

The details of the contract remained scanty after officials at the DP’s office failed to get back when contacted by the Star.
