INSPIRATIONAL:GOD REMEMBERS PAST OUR DUE DATES

Pauline AdongoHave you ever waited for someone to respond to a need; just experience a setback when the person fails to keep his/her word? God is not slack in keeping His promises. He is not man who may forget or fail to keep a promise. Be assured that despite how long you have waited, the Lord remembers the petitions of the righteous.

Stay faithful and consistent in your prayers and in your walk with God. I’ve come to learn that there are things that God responds to immediately, yet there are those that He takes time with. Reason? I don’t know other than to trust His timing.

It appears that God may also tarry to respond to that which we deem urgent and critically important; a dire need. Most of the them could be things you have waited for so long and have now passed human or scientific intellect, But God remembers beyond the unpredictable.

Consider these accounts:

¶  1 Samuel 1:19-God remembered Hannah

¶  Genesis 8.1-God remembered Noah and all the animals in the ark

¶  Genesis 21: 1 God remembered Sarah and Isaac was later born

¶  Genesis 30:22 -God remembered Rachel

From these scriptures, it appears that God tends to respond to overdue matters. Maybe it’s because God is timeless, or He is the Master of time. When God remembers, He responds with greater and better answers. Regardless of how long you have waited, be encouraged, God has not forgotten. God is not like people, who lie; He is not a human who changes His mind. Whatever He promises, He does; He speaks, and it is done. Numbers 23: 19.GOD REMEMBERS
