Daniel Ndambuki popular known as Churchill says he turned down opposition leader Raila and President Uhuru request to attend his Churchil@40 show that is to be going take place at the KICC this Friday evening.
Speaking to Nairobi news, the comedian who has been on the comedy industry for the last 15 years revealed that both Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga requested to attend his 40thbirthday party, but turned down both requests.
“I explained to them both why I didn’t not honour their request.’’ He told the website
He said that with the situation still volatile in the country and things seems to be, his event won’t be an ideal place for them because they will steal his moment.
Politically, Uhuru and Raila have been at logger heads over the elections integrity which led to Raila boycotting the second election. He earlier successfully challenged the first election at the Supreme Court.
Uhuru Kenyatta is set to be sworn into his second term in office next week Tuesday.
