Stephen Njogu, a 24-year-old from Minnesota, has been battling brain stem glioma since 2014. Despite initial grim prognosis and limited options, his mother, Rosemary Njogu, has been tirelessly seeking alternative treatments.
In 2015, they discovered Dr. Burzynski in Texas, whose innovative therapies showed promise, allowing Stephen to regain some mobility and speech.
However, the treatments are costly—approximately $17,000 per month—and are not covered by insurance.
After depleting their savings and facing financial hardship, Rosemary launched a GoFundMe campaign to raise funds for continued treatment. As of now, they need $61,000 to commence a three-month treatment plan.GoFundMe
