Security personnel attached to Nairobi Governor Mike Sonko had a hard time keeping his supporters at bay as he drove through Nairobi in a convertible Mercedes Benz. Live broadcast posted to Governor Sonko’s Facebook page showed security holding back hawkers along Mombasa and crowds in Kangemi as people tried to get close to the governor.
