Police in Shauri Moyo are interrogating three men who reportedly attacked and killed a 38-year-old man who urinated against a wall within the estate. The victim, whose name is being withheld until the next of kin are informed, was allegedly found urinating and was beaten. He collapsed and was rushed to hospital where he was pronounced dead. " We are holding three men who reportedly beat up a 38-year-old man until he fell unconscious and later died while being taken to hospital," Nairobi police boss Anthony Kibuchi said yesterday.
In another incident, a female motorist was on Sunday evening robbed of her vehicle and money at Ongata Rongai minutes after she had stopped at a Cooperative Bank ATM. The lady had just parked her Toyota Fielder car registration number KBF 033X when she was confronted by five men armed with a pistol. They robbed her of her car, three ATM cards and Sh15,000 before driving away in her car. Police have appealed to anyone who sees the stolen vehicle to report to the nearest police station.
