Christian Broadcast Pioneers coming to United States for Prophetic Prayer and Fellowship

Christian broadcasting in Kenya owes its movement to Biblia Husema Broadcasting in Kijabe. The names associated with this was the late founder Pastor Timothy Kamau and Pastor Christopher Arap Mutai. Christopher Mutai is credited with establishing the first Christian Broadcasting Television in the Rift Valley BHB Channel 48. He also over saw the move from KBC as the only broadcasting network to independent broadcasting networks. Biblia Husema was the first station to receive the first license for broadcasting in 1998. Christopher Mutai is known for his constant prophetic word, “Na Neno Litaendelea”

There are two major National Television Stations In Kenya. Family TV and Sayare (Sauti Ya Rehema). Sayare is credited with a 24 hour worship featuring Kenyan Christian Musicians. It is also the place where the prophetic word is preached to millions of Kenyans. The man God appointed for this work is Rev. Eli Rop who is the founding CEO and the current MD of Sayare.

Both these men of God saw believers abandon their faith during the post election violence and turn on each other especially in the Rift Valley. “It was very sad to have people running away to our stations seek shelter from the violence. And worst they were afraid of other believers”. Says Rev. Rop. Because of this, these two men believe that the Diaspora Christian Community, pastors and apostles have the prophetic responsibility to join the Christian church in Kenya in prayer, preaching and teaching on radio and television to remind the Kenyan Church of the love of Christ. They have set apart both Radio and Television air time for the Diaspora Christian Community. They are here to encourage the diaspora believers to take advantage of this air time and produce programs to air in their stations for sake of the Kenyan Church.

Both will be attending a prophetic group prayer in Michigan. 12th August to 16th of August. For more information on the Michigan Prayer visit www.growth-ministries.org There you will find directions to the place. They will also be attending service and meeting with believers at Christ Covenant Church on the 26th of August.
