Nigerian movie star Jim Iyke to Shoot Canadian Film in Kenya

Nollywood actor Jim Iyke arrived in Nairobi yesterday afternoon for a three-day “surprise visit”.

According to his management, Christopher Grey of Greyology, Jim is part of a cast for a movie that will be part shot in Kenya by a Canadian producer.

He will be in the country for rehearsals in preparation for the new Canadian film set to be shot in March this year.

Christopher told Word Is, “Unfortunately I can’t release the information of the (movie) location to you yet and the actual film is not being shot till March but he’s here for rehearsals.”

The multi-award winning actor recently hosted the Golden Icon Film Awards in Houston, Texas. He is also currently shooting his mega reality TV show ‘Jim Iyke – Unscripted’ to be aired on international networks later this year.

The Nigerian actor was in Kenya last year December taking part in charity projects organised by Make A Change, a charity initiated by Jamaican dancehall queen CeCile and Christopher Grey.

James Ikechukwu Esomugha, popularly known as Jim Iyke listen (born 25 September 1976),[1] is a Nigerian actor and one of the stars of the movie Last Flight to Abuja.

He was born in Libreville, Gabon. His parents, from Ogwugwu Village in Enugwu-Agidi town of Anambra State, changed their name from Okolue to Esomugha.

He is the only boy in a family of eight children. He attended secondary school in F. G. C. Kwali Abuja from 1985 to 1991, then earned a diploma in Banking and Finance and a BSc in philosophy from the University of Jos, Plateau State.[3]
