Tragically, at the beginning of this year our 2 year-old daughter Zarah (Zee) was diagnosed with a rare, childhood cancer called Neuroblastoma.
Zee was admitted to Children’s medical center of Dallas on January 28, 2013 after we discovered a mass in her abdomen. She had surgery on January 30 to remove the mass and a bone marrow biopsy.
Unfortunately, the bone marrow biopsy also revealed that the cancer had gone to the bone marrow and her bones. Zee was prescribed six rounds of chemotherapy, stem cell collection and finally a bone marrow transplant. While the diagnosis is devastating and the treatment course long, we are confident that Zee possesses the strength and fortitude to beat and survive this cancer.
Every day is and will be a battle for Zee but she remains strong due to a lot love from her family and friends.
As Zee goes through this daunting task of fighting this terrible illness lets unite to help her and her family in any way we can.
