KENYAN MAN DIES IN A TRAGIC ACCIDENT IN LONDON
We regret to announce the death of Michael Weru Gichuki, 52, our brother and friend, who died on 9th April 2013 following a tragic road accident on the night of Saturday 30th March 2013 in Brixton, South London. He was taken to King’s College Hospital, Camberwell, South London where he never regained his consciousness for 9 days and he passed away on Tuesday 9th April, 2013.
Weru hails from Nyahururu, Kenya and is the son of Joseph Gichuki and Esther Njoki Gichuki. He is father to Njoki Weru, brother to Jane Wanjiru, Thomas Mwangi Gichuki, Anthony Wariari Gichuki, Mercy Nyawira Gichuki, Eva Wanjiru Gichuki, Martin Mugwe Gichuki and John Nderitu Gichuki.
We are appealing to all Kenyans and friends of Weru to help us raise funds to repatriate his body back home to his parents. Family and friends are meeting everyday for funeral arrangements and arrangement for transporting the deceased back to Kenya at: 72 Fairholme Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 3PH from 5:30pm.
