The link appealed to anyone who knows Kamau’s relative to contact lemayan@gmx.co.uk since the police will dispose the body by Monday.

Those who commented on the link said: “We have to act very fast before he is cremated. Some Kenyans went to the police to stop the cremation and they were given up to Monday to produce the next of kin.” A senior officer in the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Communication Edwin Limo said they have not received such information but will liaise with the Consular Services in Berlin Germany for more details.

In May this year, a decomposing body of Jennifer Naserian a daughter of former Traffic Licencing Board chairman, Hassan Kamwaro, was found almost three weeks after she had died in her Cologne home in Germany. Naserian, a old girl of Ole Tipis Girls High School, was found after neighbours detected a strong smell coming from her apartment building.

Neigbours called police who traced the smell to her apartment and broke into it to gain access. They found her badly decomposed body. She was believed to have been living with her boyfriend in the apartment she was found in.

Kenyans in Cologne describe Jenny as a woman of few words and nothing much was known about her.

Suspicions arose that she became an alcoholic after suffering from a bout of depression. According to Cologne police, her body could have been disposed by cremation if nobody came forward the same way they have said they will do so with Kamau’s body if relatives will not be forthcoming.

Her relatives knew of her death after the news was spreading on Facebook asking for anyone who might be knowing her.-The star
