The impeachment motion was tabled by Ndeia Ward representative Nelson Munga who accused the Speaker of abuse of office.
67 members of the Kiambu County Assembly voted the impeachment motion out of the 87 members.
However, only 83 MPs were present during the voting exercise
Those who supported the motion claimed that Mr Ndichu mismanaged funds through alleged lavish spending by his office during overseas trips.
Before his impeachment, Ndichu was given time to defend himself against the allegations which he denied.
Last year, the Speaker narrowly survived an impeachment motion.
The removal of the Speaker comes just weeks after a similar move by the Embu County Assembly to impeach the Governor Martin Wambora
The removal of Wambora has however been dogged by controversy pitting two arms of Government, Legislature and Judiciary
