A pastor from Lungalunga in Kwale County has been charged with defiling his house help.
Mr Joseph Jawa appeared before Kwale resident magistrate Mr Paul Mutai.
According to prosecutor Mr Joseph Omwando, Mr Jawa committed the offence between August 5 and 31, 2013 in Ngathini village.
Mr Omwando told the court that the accused lured the house help into his bedroom while his wife was away for a seminar and gave her Sh300 after defiling her.
The pastor is alleged to have impregnated the house help who had to quit her job after the incident.
The magistrate ordered for a DNA test to confirm whether the pastor is the father to the complainant’s son.
Mr Jawa was released on Sh100,000 bond.
The case will be heard on August 14 this year.
