The Sei family deeply regrets to announce the untimely passing of our beloved mother, Mrs. Miriam J. Sei, on Wednesday, September 17, 2014, at Nairobi Women’s Hospital.
Mama accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior and lived her life wholeheartedly in service to Him. We take comfort in knowing that she is now at eternal peace in a glorious place with her Heavenly Father. Though we will dearly miss her kind heart and gentle spirit, we mourn with hope, trusting that we shall see her again.
She was the beloved wife of the late Fred K. arap Sei (1982) and a devoted mother to Jennifer Jerotich Sei, Edward Kiprono Sei, Clara Jebet Sei-Mbithi, and Janet Jepchirchir Sei-Keilers. She was a cherished grandmother (“Koko”) to Alfred Kiplagat, Naomi Kioko, Oskar Keilers, and Reagan Sei, and a loving aunt to Betty “Chelah” Mutua, among many other relatives and friends in Kenya and across the world.
