In an interview with the Star after the launch of the Third Edition of the World Immunization Week, Macharia said due to the stability in the two regions, KQ operations would resume.

We have also resolved not to send the second cohort of volunteer health workers to the two countries as the first cohort has done a tremendous jobโ€, said Macharia.

He said the team of 170 will be back in the country in six weeks time as per the agreement.
