A pastor at The End Times Disciples Ministries made his congregation eat rocks after he “converted” them into bread.
Pastor Penuel Mnguni asked the congregants to bring rocks, which he stepped on and prayed over, causing them to “turn into bread”, according to the Sowetan.
“Man of God said they must bring a rock and He turned it into bread. Satan have been making people fools. Satan said to Jesus ‘turn a rock into a bread’ he knew that he could do it however his motive was wrong,” read a post on the Ministries’ facebook page on Monday.
The 24-year-old pastor also asked his followers to eat snakes, which he had turned into “chocolate”, adding his teachings are “based on scripture”.
“#‎Demonstration?. Man of God declared a snake to become a chocolate (chomp) and the congregation ate it. We have authority to change everything into anything and it will obey because of our authority.”
Mnguni, a self-proclaimed prophet, has in the past asked his followers to strip during a church service, to demonstrate his authority.
“During the service Prophet Penuel command the temperature to decrease into Snow atmosphere, the Congregation began to feel coldness in their Body, themselves started to cover their body with Blankets. This is Sign that God is with us,” read a caption on a picture taken from the service.
Mnguni is said to have been a member of Pastor Lesego Daniel’s church, another religious leader who made church members eat grass and drink petrol.
