11 envoys pledge to impose travel ban on KenyanNairobi, Kenya: Western countries have expressed outrage over rampant cases of corruption in the country and said they were prepared to impose travel restrictions on government officials implicated in graft.

The 11 envoys further pledged to assist Kenyan authorities to return stolen assets after a meeting with officials from the Ethics and Anti-corruption Commission (EACC) at Integrity Centre on Thursday.

The meeting comes as numerous cases of corruption claims continue to riddle several ministries.

Some of the recent graft claims include Sh791 million in the Ministry of Devolution and Planning, which is under the embattled Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru.
