NAIROBI, Kenya, Mar 11 โ President Uhuru Kenyatta has made parastatal changes in a move to improve service delivery to the country.
Under the new changes, former Roads Minister Franklin Bett has been appointed Chairman of the Agricultural Finance Corporation.
Bettโs appointment takes effect on March 10, 2015 for a three-year term until March 2019.
Other appointments include that of Joshua arap Sangโs ICC lawyer Katwa Kigen who was appointed Unclaimed Assets Authority Chairman for three years.
Former Police Commissioner Mathew Iteere has been appointed to the Nyayo Tea Zones Development Authority Chairman.
James Mwangi has been appointed the chairman of the Kenya Vision 2030 delivery board while Julius Kones was appointed National Water Conservation and Pipeline Corporation Chairman.
Christopher Foot and Silas Muriuki were appointed Kenya Film Commission Board Chairman and Local Authorities Provident Fund Chairman respectively.
On Friday, President also appointed Nzioka Waita to be deputy to the State House Chief of Staff and Head of Public Service Joseph Kinyua.
