Pastor Gilbert Imbayi of Liberty Christian Worship Center has been going through a difficult time as he recovers from an attack at his place of work that took place on the night of December 31. He ended up at the Shock Trauma but was later released .
Pastor Gilbert works for as a contractual employee at Good shepherd service in Baltimore Maryland which is a non-profit residential treatment center for adolescents, ages 13 to 21, who are suffering from severe emotional and behavioral problems. He was attacked by some boys in the institution as he was helping another employee who was having problems with the boys. The boys attacked him aggressively with chairs, kicks and blows.
He has been attending physical therapy and has not been able to resume work ever since. Although he has not asked for any help. We know it can be difficult. Some of the Baltimore Clergy visited him over the weekend and decided to gather the community together for a thanksgiving and fundraiser service to assist him, until he is able to resume work.
