NTV journalist Ken Mijungu is a step closer to his highly anticipated wedding to the love of his life, Lolo.
Over the weekend, friends and family of the couple gathered in Baringo county to celebrate their union in a colourful traditional Koito ceremony. According to Kalenjin community, Koito refers to the day when the man goes to his fiancée’s home, negotiates dowry and formally ‘marries’ the girl.
Mijungu’s fellow workmates Larry Madowo, Mark Masai and Trevor Ombija were among those present.
Mijungu proposed to Laurine on her birthday in February this year.
From photos shared on social media, it was all bliss and joy from the ceremony.
