Last Friday, a man identified as Saleh Wanjala alias Sambaka shocked residents of Bungoma when he hitched a ride on a helicopter ferrying the body of the late Jacob Juma. The incident spread like a wildfire across the country as Mr. Wanjala became an instant overnight celebrity.
So popular is he that his ‘wife’ has spoken up about the incident. A video that is going viral on the interwebs has left social media users with aching ribs, as the ‘wife’, Shanty Kabeer Shantyzz, laments about her ‘husband’s’ embarrassing stunt.

Mr Wanjala, a casual labourer, was seen hanging on the helicopter as it flew away from the grounds, prompting desperate mourners to shout and frantically wave at the pilot to land the aircraft and save him.
However, the pilot could not hear the shouts and flew away with the man holding tight to the the chopper’s tabular landing skids.
The helicopter had delivered Mr Juma’s body at the grounds instead of Kanduyi Stadium as had been scheduled for public viewing. Source-nation.co.ke
