Former KANU Chairman Cuts Kanjo’s Clamp and Drives Off

Prominent Uasin Gishu farmer and former politician Jackson Kibor was on Tuesday caught on camera blatantly hacking away at a City Council clamp on his vehicle in Eldoret.

The former KANU Chairman had his vehicle clamped for failure to pay a Sh 100 parking fee.

A video shared on social media by Robert Alai shows the aging business tycoon hacking at the clamp with a hacksaw as a crowd gathers and watches.

One of the local residents helps cut it off after which Mr.Kibor drives off.

Robert Alai condemned the incident writing: “Earlier today, the Toyota V8 SUV of former KANU chairman and business tycoon Jackson Kibor was clamped for not paying Ksh 100 in Eldoret, he cut the clamp and drove off. Such impunity must be condemned by all. How will our local authorities survive when we can’t pay the rates? This is impunity!!!!”
