There was a message posted in October about Ernest Nganga, a devoted husband and father of two, who was involved in a major collision with a 18 wheeler truck accident in Houston while going to work.
The accident received local media coverage due to the severity of the injuries incurred by Ernest. He remained conscious for 45 minutes while the Fire and Emergency Services worked to save his crushed body from the vehicle wreckage.
Ernest sustained major injuries including two broken legs and a broken hand. He has been immobilized since the day of the accident after going through multiple surgeries. Ernest was at Clear Lake Regional Hospital for over a week and has now transitioned to Home Care Nursing to rehabilitate.
Ernest, his wife, Elita, and his children Nia and Ethan will be facing a very long physical, mental, and psychological road to recovery. In addition, Ernest and Elita will also face severe financial burdens.
