It’s with deep grief DFW is mourning the death of our own Sister *Doris “Chero” Cherotich Chemirmir Akpom of DFW, TX. She leaves behind her loving husband *Mr.Okey Akpom & their 3 children: Alex, Brandon & Chuka.
Her Parents are The Late Samson Chemirmir & Judy Chemirmir. She was sister to Jep Muraya, Susan, David, Patrick, The Late Stella, Oscar & Ernest. Sister in law to Syed, Faith & Trudy. Niece to Grace & Mercy amongst others*
Unfortunately, her battle with CANCER was lost as the Lord had seen it fit to allow her to bow out & rest.
Following her death, we humbly post the following time line of events as we seek your moral, financial and spiritual support:
1. *Funeral Celebration Fundraiser:* Saturday, November 18th *@6pm: Upendo Baptist Church, 916 N Jupiter Rd, Garland TX 75042*
2. *Visitation/Viewing:*
*Thursday, Nov 30th 4pm-8pm & Friday, Dec 1st. 2pm-6pm (Rolling Oaks Memorial Center, 400 S Freeport Pkwy, Coppell TX, 75019)*
3. *Wake Keeping:* *December 1st, from 10pm @ Star Banquet & Event Center, 2722 W Irving Blvd, Irving TX 75061*
4. *Funeral Service: December 2nd. 3pm @ The Episcopal Church Of Annunciation, 602 N Old Orchard Ln, Lewisville TX 75077*
5. *Burial: Follows immediately after Funeral service @ Rolling Oaks Memorial Center, 400 S Freeport Pkwy, Coppell TX, 75019)*
