Vincent Kipruto’s journey to graduate study in the United States is a story of patience, research, and long-term commitment. After three years of preparation, he is now set to pursue a Master’s in Data Science at Virginia Commonwealth University in Richmond, Virginia.

Vincent began his academic journey at Little Joy Academy in Eldoret before proceeding to Mother of Apostles Seminary for his secondary education, where he earned a B+. He later graduated from the Technical University of Mombasa with a Bachelor of Science in Information Technology and a GPA of 3.18.

His ambition to study abroad took shape during the COVID-19 period, when he explored opportunities in Australia, the United Kingdom, and Scotland. However, financial constraints delayed his plans. During this time, he learned about ISP through a colleague who had joined the program in its early days. Although intrigued, Vincent spent nearly two years conducting in-depth research before fully committing.

He describes the process as both revealing and demanding. From university applications and financial planning to visa preparation, each step required resilience. Structured guidance helped him navigate complexities and regain clarity whenever uncertainty arose.
