Legendary American Soul Singer James Ingram in Thika

Grammy award winner and soul music prodigy James Ingram was in Thika visiting the Thika School of the Blind. He was accompanied by his wife and manager, Debbie during the visit.

TheThika School of the Blind has close to 300 students all of whom have visually impairment. The school provides amazing opportunities to the children setting them up to function in normal jobs or further education.

“Having been part of the We are the World Charity Programme before we are aware that some of the fund collected from the project did not get to all the right places we targeted and that’s why we hope that after this visit we can identify ways in how we can help these children,” said Debbie.

James Ingram will be performing tomorrow from 4PM at the newly refurbished Kasarani indoor arena. Regular tickets cost 5000/- while the VIP will be 10,000/- and are available at all Nakumatt outlets.
