ODM Hands Bishop Wanjiru Direct Senate Ticket. Former Starehe MP Bishop Margaret Wanjiru will battle it out with ex Makadara MP Gideon Mbuvi ‘Sonko’ for the Nairobi senate seat.
This is after the Orange Democratic Movement gave Wanjiru the ticket to vie for the post.

Sonko will vie for the senate seat on The National Party (TNA) ticket.
Wanjiru failed to contest for the Nairobi Governor’s post after the ODM National Elections Board failed to clear her due to her academic papers.

Former Mumias Sugar CEO Evans Kidero contest for the Nairobi Governor seat on ODM ticket. He faces former Embakasi MP Ferdinand Waititu of TNA.
Meanwhile Jubilee Coalition picked Millicent Omanga of URP to be Waititu’s running mate.
