Friends, there comes a time when all that we are in the life today becomes but a physical stepping stone to the spiritual abode that waits ahead. Such a time has come for our very own MORGAN NJOROGE KIARIE.

With a heavy heart but in full appreciation and acceptance of the Lord’s doing, please join us in celebrating the life of Morgan. A charming and passionate young man that was full of life even to the last moment – Our Son,  Our Brother,  Our Cousin,  Our Love and  Our Friend.
Morgan was born on 19th December 1990 in Nakuru, Kenya. He is the second born of Albert Njoroge Kiarie and the late Jane Muthoni Kiarie, and a step son to Carren Nyakio Kiarie. He is the brother to Evelyn Wambui Kiarie, Abigael Wambui Kiarie, Arthur Ndung’u Kiarie, Alfie Njoroge Kiara and Osteen Gitau Kiarie. He attended St. Francis day center, Naivasha Boys and Elburgon secondary before coming to the US in 2010 to further his studies at Tacoma Community College, Washington.
On Sunday the 30th June 2013, Morgan was enjoying a summer weekend with his friends at the Long Beach in Washington. It was later in the day while he and his friends were having fun in the waters that a strong wave took him under overpowering his ability to swim to shore — Morgan did not resurface. Frantic efforts by emergency rescue team to find him yielded no results even as the efforts were suspended due to the higher tides in the night.
But the Lord had other plans for our friend whom we fondly call CAPTAIN.  The search and rescue team found his lifeless body on the shore upon resuming the search on the morning of July 1, 2013.  Morgan’s body will be rested at the Edward’s memorial Funeral Home in Tacoma, Washington before his final journey back home to Kenya.
In preparation for this very difficult journey (both emotionally and financially), family and friends are meeting daily for prayers and support at Irene and Mathenge’s residence: 7701 90th Ave SW, Lakewood Washington 98498 starting  at 7pm.
A fundraiser has been planned for Sunday, July 14th, 2013 from 6pm at APOSTOLIC FAITH 8739 HOSMER ST, TACOMA WA 98444. May the good Lord reward you richly for your prayers and financial support.
For those that are not able to attend, financial contributions may be made to the bank account set up in his cousin’s name as follows:
