Video:Wooing Western? Jubilee Leaders Target Western Kenya

The jubilee government now appears keen to win over Western Kenya that voted overwhelmingly for cord in the March 4th general election. Just a few days after its forays in coast, deputy president William Ruto was in Western Kenya dishing out what is being interpreted to be goodies to tilt the political goodwill of leaders and residents of western region. Accompanied by several local members of parliament, the deputy president pledged government’s commitment to serve all Kenyans irrespective of their party affiliations. Ruto spoke even as the referendum gained momentum with top cord politicians led by former Prime Minister Raila Odinga saying the push for a referendum was unstoppable.
