There are some of us who are die-hard fans of different sports and teams that we would support them even when they continually lose. In fact for some teams, they often have great promise at the beginning of the season however they usually disappoint their loyal fans in the end. This is not only in the sports world because at some point in life, we will be disappointed or let down by others. This may be the case but thankfully God is not at all like this. You can count on Him because he will not disappoint you in the end. God always keeps His promises and His Word provides comfort, hope and wise advice that never fails. Indeed all we need is God because He is a faithful God who never goes against his Word. When King Solomon dedicated the temple, he attested to the fact that God had not let his people down. If people around you have let you down or not been there for you in trying times, then depend and rely on God. For He will never leave you nor forsake you. Today let’s join in echoing Solomon’s words: “Blessed be the LORD, who has given rest to his people Israel, according to all that He promised. There has not failed one word of all His good promise. “Not one of all the Lord’s good promises to the house of Israel failed; every one was fulfilled.” Joshua 21:45
