A Kenyan man died early Monday morning in a single-car crash in Kennesaw, Georgia.
Cobb County Police Department is investigating a crash that occurred on Piedmont Road at Piedmont Enclave Court in Marietta early Monday morning, claiming the life of a 36-year-old Kennesaw man.
The driver of a silver 2004 Kia Optima was traveling west on Piedmont Road about 12:28 a.m. when he lost control and struck the guardrail in the center median, according to police. The car was then redirected back across the westbound lanes where it crashed into a tree on the northern shoulder of the road.
The driver of the Kia, identified as Victor Kibogong, 36, of Kennesaw, was pronounced dead at the scene.
This crash continues to be investigated and anyone with information about it is asked to call (770) 499-3987.

It is with sadness and deep sorrow that we announce the passing of our dear friend, Victor Kibogong, 36yrs, who was involved in a road accident on early Sunday morning at 12:25am. Victor, was pronounced dead at the scene. He was from work, heading home.
Victor Kibogong is from Kabarnet, KENYA. He is survived by his wife, Mary.
