Kenyans on social media Tuesday posted prayers for the country under the hashtag #OnMyKnees4MyNation in a show of patriotism.
A picture circulated on Twitter had the message: โLord we ask you to protect our nation Kenyaโ.
Kenyans listed issues plaguing the country including recent terror attacks and prayed for integrity, good leadership and prosperity.

Demonstration by university students against proposed fee increment was also trending Tuesday.
There were updates on which streets the protesting students were marching to and motorists advised to avoid them.
@Ma3Routes tweeted that the demonstrators were heading towards Kenyatta Avenue roundabout on Uhuru highway
@Newton Karanja tweeted: please take care, #universitydemo is on. Started marching peacefully around CBD.
