The trial of Deputy President William Ruto and Joshua Sang before the International Criminal Court has been adjourned to June 16, 2014.

Trial Chamber V (a) adjourned the case after an application by the prosecution.

The prosecution requested an adjournment until the end of the month of June when the next witness 405 will be available.

The defence did not oppose the application.

On Thursday the prosecution applied to withdraw its key witness.

Witness p-0025 was withdrawn a few hours before taking the stand and the prosecution applied for the adjournment of the case to June.
