Gunmen raided a bar along Jomo Kenyatta Avenue in Mombasa County Tuesday morning and shot dead two people.
Police say the gunmen also shot and injured two waitresses in the 3.30am incident.
Mombasa OCPD Geoffrey Mayek said the attackers entered Sega bar and ordered everyone to lie down.
They then demanded the dayโs sales from one of the waitresses.
He said two people, who refused to lie down, were shot dead.
One of the waitresses was shot in the leg and the other on the thigh. They are admitted at Coast General Hospital.
The incident comes a day after gunmen shot and killed four people in Soweto area of Likoni, Mombasa County.
On Monday evening, police said they had made eight arrests in connection with the killings.
