Death Announcement: Celebrating the Life of Rahab Kimana

It is with profound sadness and heavy hearts that we announce the passing of Rahab Kimana-Mukuria, who peacefully departed on Thursday, June 25, 2026, following a short illness.

Rahab was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, relative, and friend whose life was defined by love, faith, compassion, and unwavering devotion to her family. Her passing has left a deep void in the hearts of those who knew and loved her, but her legacy of kindness, generosity, and strength will continue to inspire generations to come.

She was the cherished wife of Isaac Mukuria, with whom she shared many years of marriage, building a family founded on love, faith, and mutual respect. Together they raised children who continue to reflect the values and principles she instilled throughout her life.

Rahab was the loving mother of Peter Kimana of Seattle, Washington, Simon Kimana, Ruth Kariuki, and Lewis Kimana of Atlanta, Georgia. She was also a treasured mother-in-law to Isaac Kariuki and Grace Mukuria, embracing each member of the family with warmth, wisdom, and unconditional love.

Her greatest joy was spending time with her family, especially her beloved grandchildren: Nadyne Stacy, Israel Kariuki, Ellana Kariuki, and Malachi Kariuki. She took immense pride in watching them grow and remained a constant source of encouragement, guidance, and affection. Her gentle spirit, wise counsel, and heartfelt prayers will forever remain in their memories.

Those who had the privilege of knowing Rahab remember her as a woman of remarkable grace, humility, and resilience. She possessed a caring heart and always found ways to serve others, offering comfort during difficult moments and celebrating life’s blessings with genuine joy. Whether through her words of encouragement, acts of kindness, or quiet generosity, she touched countless lives and left an enduring impression on everyone she encountered.

Although her earthly journey has come to an end, her legacy will continue through the lives she impacted, the family she nurtured, and the many friendships she cultivated over the years. Her unwavering faith and dedication to her loved ones will remain a lasting testimony of a life well lived.

As the Mukuria and Kimana families mourn this tremendous loss, they kindly ask relatives, friends, members of the Kenyan diaspora, and the wider community to keep them in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult period. Your prayers, messages of comfort, and acts of support are deeply appreciated as the family prepares to celebrate Rahab’s life and honor her memory.
