Over the weekend one of the biggest sporting events was going down: The 2014 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
The Formula 1 motor racing event was held at the Yas Marina Circuit on 23 November. The race was the final round of the 2014 season and determined the World Drivers’ Championship between Mercedes drivers Nico Rosberg and Lewis Hamilton, with the latter winning both the race and the title.
As you may be aware it attracted the creme de la creme of the world including our very own President Uhuru. In attendance too was the country’s best performing governor, Alfred Mutua and Machakos county First Lady Lilian Nganga.
