“Kenya native Hezron Jeremiah Onyango, who works as a laundry attendant at the Inter Continental Doha The City was honored by the Philippine embassy in Qatar.

Philippine Ambassador to Qatar Crescente R. Relacion presented a certificate of recognition to Onyango during the sidelines of a general meeting for hotel employees.

The repory also indicated that “for his charitable act, Onyango was honored with a runner-up award in the Unsung Hero category at the recent Hotelier Middle East Awards held in Dubai.” He was likwise featured in several local English news dailies in Doha.
