Promotion to Glory: Honoring a Kenyan Mother’s Wish in California

It is with humble acceptance of God’s will and great sadness that we announce the Promotion to Glory of Mrs. Mary Waitiki, the wife of Joseph Waitiki and a Mother to Veronica Ndegwa, loving Grandma to Ean & Brian, Christian and  Shiku Among many others.

In 2009, Doctors diagnosed Mary with advanced stage 4 cancer. She battled through and miraculously survived a series of surgeries tackling the tumors, but it was not enough for remission. She lived cancer free life until January 2015 when it recurred and spread to other parts of her vital organs.  She kept strong through it all till the Lord took her home on 7/2/15
